Software Licence
This licence covers the Mantia software that you download and install on your own computer. By installing or running it, you accept the terms below.
1. What you receive
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the software. The software is licensed, not sold. All rights in it remain with us.
2. What you must not do
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, or reconstruct its source code, except where expressly permitted by law;
- modify the software, or circumvent the entitlement check and the built-in restrictions;
- distribute, sell, rent out or transfer the software to third parties, or embed it in a product or service of your own;
- remove notices of ownership or the product's markings.
3. Entitlement check
The software contacts our server to confirm that your access is still valid. Without that confirmation, operation may be restricted or stopped. Without a network connection the software continues to work for a limited time.
4. Device tag and protection against abuse
To counter abuse, the software computes an irreversible device tag and sends it to us. The tag is required for activation.
The tag cannot be used to reconstruct information about your computer: it is the result of a one-way transformation, not the system identifier itself.
The tag is retained after access is withdrawn. If access from a device was withdrawn for abuse, we may refuse access to a new account from the same device. A mistaken block is lifted on request.
Attempts to conceal, falsify or substitute the tag in order to get around a withdrawal of access are prohibited and are in themselves grounds for refusing access.
5. Early release
The software is distributed as an early release, «as is». Errors, incompatibilities and loss of data are possible. Individual features may change or disappear without notice.
6. Updates
Updates and fixes are provided under this same licence. The software may check for a new version and install it.
7. Open-source components
The software includes a browser engine based on code distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. The source code of that part is made available on request and is published together with each release. The terms of MPL 2.0 take precedence over this licence in respect of that code.

9. Termination
If this licence is breached, the right to use the software ends immediately. In that case you must stop using the software and delete it from your devices.
